Northern Rovers Football club was formed in November 2020 through the merger of Forrest Hill Milford AFC and Glenfield Rovers AFC. The merger was, in part, due to the rising cost of sports participation, by merging the clubs we would be able to share resources thus becoming more efficient and able to offer better value to members. Other key reasons include having greater numbers across all ages to create better pathways and being able to meet requirements set by NZF & NRF for development centres and the highest leagues to participate in.

Raquel Dukic - Treasurer
Raquel Dukic, a devoted member of the Northern Rovers family, has a husband, Serge, and two children, Luci and Marko, all actively involved in the club. Serge currently plays for the Cobwebs, after a year with the Chilli Peppers. Raquel gave it a go with Chaos in 2023 but had to step back due to injury. The Dukic Family truly embodies the spirit of the Rovers, proving that a family that plays footy together, stays together.
In 2022, Raquel answered the call for volunteers and brought her expertise as a qualified accountant to help with the club's accounts. Her dedication quickly made her a valued member of the finance team. By 2023, Raquel was nominated and accepted a position as a board member. In 2024, she further stepped up, taking on the role of Treasurer, succeeding Greg Hanton, who had a distinguished tenure at Northern Rovers and Forrest Hill Milford.
Raquel's contributions go beyond her financial expertise. She excels in governance and risk management and provides a vital female perspective to the previously all-male board.
